A dose of eye candy

Jamgammon
Abstract
In this game project (a backgammon variation) the board is basically a wooden frame, containing a winded path of connected fields on which the pieces are placed.
Demo screenshot of prototype
As a design study, there'll be several path images available, each in a different style.
Such pictures may be created by drawing, photo splicing/montage, or image AI tools, as long as the underlying path/fields structure is preserved.
Structure template
Feel free to download and use the following template as visual orientation:
jg_struct.png, 1008×496 px, 10.0 KB
This is the upper half which can be mirrored downwards to obtain the complete area. Later, in postprocessing, the picture is scaled down (by factor 2) and its height is squished a bit (7/8) for the slight perspective warp effect.
- Circles represent the netto footprints of the pieces.
- Lines indicate how the fields are connected.
- Gray bars represent areas that are covered by the wooden frame.

Masks
Side note: just in case you're going for a similar look, here are 2 masks I've used to construct the blob-like appearence of the wooden inlay style.

Fields already include a small (~8 px) padding around pieces.
