Abstract
The board shows a symmetric hex-grid based framework, made of interconnected fields on which coins (colours: red, yellow, greem, cyan, blue, violet) are placed.

As a design study, there’ll be several skins available for the path image, each in a different style. Such pictures may be created by drawing, photo splicing/montage, or image AI tools, as long as the underlying path/fields structure is preserved.

In postprocessing, the picture’s height is squished (5/8 ≈ golden ratio) to 520 px for the perspective warp effect.
Note, that for technical reasons (vertical scaling) the narrow deviation angle between field centers is 28.61° (or 61.39° respectively for the wide angle) in our template - not 30°/60° as in a usual hex grid.

The structure is basically stretched vertically by a factor of ~1.0585 to accommodate length divisibility by 8.

If you prefer working with an undistorted structure, scale the template down to 800×786 px - yielding more geometrically accurate angles (30.04°/59.96°) and line lengths - or download a prepared file:
